Three steps. No followers needed.

  1. Allow precise location

    Advoca uses your exact location while the app is open, so the 2 km circle around you is real. It never runs in the background.

  2. See posts within 2 km

    Photos and short videos from people nearby, newest first. Pull down to refresh and see what just went up.

  3. Post for 24 hours

    Share one photo or a short video. It's visible to people within 2 km for 24 hours, and your post shows a countdown so you always know how long is left.

Your feed is built from where you're standing, not from who you follow. Walk across campus and the feed walks with you.

The 24-hour ring

Every post lives for exactly 24 hours. The ring on your own posts drains as the time runs out, then the post is gone from the feed.

Safety

You stay in control.

Posts go live straight away. If something isn't right, report it and our moderators review it.

Report a post

Pick a reason, add details if you like. The post is hidden from your feed at once while we review it.

Block, both ways

Once you block someone, you won't see their posts and they won't see yours. They aren't told, and you can unblock any time in Settings.

Delete your account

Delete your account from Settings whenever you want. Your profile and posts go with it. No app? Request it by email.

18 and older

Advoca is for adults. Everyone confirms they are 18 or older and accepts the terms before they can sign in.

Keep it simple

Just the people around you.

  • Nobody to follow. Your feed is the place you're in.
  • No likes to chase. Post what's happening, not what performs.
  • Nothing from far away. Only posts within 2 km, only from today.

Why does Advoca need my precise location?

The whole feed is built on a real 2 km circle around you. An approximate location could put you in a circle you're not standing in, so Advoca asks for precise location while the app is open and does not use it in the background.

Do posts really disappear?

Yes. Every post leaves the feed 24 hours after it was posted. Your own posts show a countdown so you know how long is left.

Who can see my post?

People using Advoca within 2 km of where you posted, for 24 hours. Anyone you've blocked, or who has blocked you, won't see it.

Is my location shown to other people?

No. Your location decides which posts you see and who can see yours. It is not shown to other users as a position on a map.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings, then Delete account. If you no longer have the app, you can request deletion by email.
